PSYCH 2GG3 Lecture Notes - Lecture 1: Blood Test, Structural Level, Antibody
Document Summary
Change can be a neural, chemical, physiological or a combination of those! Occurs from experiences that an organism has; whether it"s an external or internal event. For example: flu vaccination there"s a change in our physiology. Antibodies are created as an immune response, so the body adapts and learns to make those antibodies and be ready for a viral assault (internal change). Since your body learns to adjust hormones, white blood cells etc. accordingly, like it learned to increase production that break down foreign cells that come into the body, the body has changed in some way! Learning and change goes hand in hand! Observable: a child learning them, so they change. What is learning ? their behaviour and do not hit their younger sibling anymore. that hitting their younger sibling is wrong when their parents scold. Learning occurs at a behavioural, neurochemical, physiological, and structural level. Learning is flexible and adapts to your environment accordingly.
