They can think hypothetically and with constructs what ifs . Reduction in egocentrism able to see things from other people"s point of view. Generalized other: a person"s internalized summary of the ways others have, we pool everyone"s response and that influences our self- responded to him or her in a social situation concept. The difference: lgs more general term for how we learn about ourselves, go we take all the info and pool together to make our self- through other people concept.
