(biological/genetic motives - reproduction) Ex) attractiveness (or lack of) can play a role in the amount of sex people have. * make sure you are not measuring a persons access to sex. they may have a normal or high sex drive, but don"t have access to sex as much as they would like. * total sexual outlet - number of orgasms (self induced/or during sex with whatever sex or non human animal) Since women don"t orgasm as frequently in men (in some cases), it may be harder to determine sex drive in women based on orgasm count. * we don"t like this method because we like to measure actual behaviour since attitudes and behaviours don"t always match. * tries to close the gap between unfairness of orgasm count between men and women. ** interesting to compare/contrast between the a"s and b"s.
