Someone may have a large sex drive, but have no one to have sex with. When measuring sex drive, its best to take away partners - trying to talk about the person, not the people they"re having sex with: kinsey"s behavioural measures. Total sexual outlet the amount of orgasms you have. Doesn"t matter who its with, or if its alone, with a partner, stranger, etc. than women. Problem because kinsey was a man men orgasm more. Men"s tso is much higher than women"s. Thought to be because women have a lower sex drive which is true: attitudinal measures. Sexual desire inventory (specter et al. , 1996) Talks about times you would have liked to have done x or y. Better measure of women"s sexuality than men"s.
