In rural jamaica, mothers brothers take care of kids more than fathers do. Dads don"t really know who their kid is. With sisters kids, they know 25% genes are in the kid, better way to pass on genes when not sure who is your own kid. There is no preference for masculine or feminine faces because brother is taking care of kids and not partner. Healthier countries prefer masculine faces less than unhealthy countries. Using hormonal contraceptives: more preference for feminine faces and voices. Progesterone is the active agent and makes them like feminine faces. Voice pitch and social attributions among hadza men and women. Want to gather with women with lower voices because need to be strong to be a good gatherer. Would rather marry women with lower voices. Need extra food to make milk, and need more help. Breast feeding women want to marry high voices. No breastfeeding higher percentage of masculine voices chosen.
