Amnesic patients can remember verbal material if they are tested with a method of partial information. Study phase: day 1 study 8 colour photos, some once, some 3 times, day 2 study 80 more colour photos, some once, some 3 times. Research article #1 disproportionate deficit in associative recognition relative to item. Memory composed of 2 distinct systems: declarative, facts and events, medial temporal love, nondeclarative, range of different processes related to skills and habits.
