We"ll also be covering a wide variety of topics related to the self. 800 - 200 bce (before common era) coined by karl jaspers. Between 800 and 200 bce in 4 different parts of the world, there emerged thinkers, philosophers, prophets. Who began asking questions about the meaning of the self, death, happiness. Different thinkers were addressing these same problems all at the same time. This was a pivotal period in human thought. It was a period of new philosophies, religions, and concepts of the world. A shift from nomadic to semi-nomadic peoples to clustering in large centres. This leads to a shaking of the worldview, that"s why we travel. This leads to more crime, more death, more sickness, humans at their worst. The more humans there are the worse we get.
