Dual income families/intact family: lots of stress, day-care expensive, difficult to balance both jobs. If both are careerists then it becomes difficult to balance both jobs. Career demands = conflict whose job is more important who stays home understand the power in the relationship. Traditionally, it was the women who stayed home. There are family obligations too aging parents.
