The notion that female body is inherently wrong and is deficient. Living fat in a thin-centric world lesleigh owen. To explore how fat people experience their daily worlds = fat embodiment. Fat people experience micro-aggression or spatial discrimination. Fat people tend to live their lives above the neck . Not fitting, having to demand acommodations or not receiving them at all. Are the continuous experiences of not fitting, of feeling embarrassed less obvious form of violence. Link experiences of fat discrimination with racism.
