Such an environment promotes high energy intake and low energy expenditure. Coproducion: assumpions about a scieniic object"s causes & character being built into the models examining it. Obesogenic environment thesis: (1) assumes energy-balance model; (2) assumed the environment acts upon people (no agency involved); (3) produces the same policy- oriented soluions. Importance of studying thinness as well as fatness.
