Labeling obesity an epidemic creates jobs for the diet, exercise & health industries. Fatness is usually associated with certain ideas, or images including: Fatness is due to lack of will-power, self-control & discipline . Geing fat is a fear with girls as young as 5! High school counselors less likely to encourage fat students to apply for college. 1 in 10 hr"s think it"s acceptable to ire a person for being fat. Landlords less likely to rent to fat people. Being judged for being around fat people. Fat people discriminated against by medical health professionals.
