Women"s paid employment constrained by their caregiving. Vertical occupational sex segregation - within the same eld or occupation. Female pharmacists are less likely than men to own their own pharmacies. Paid and unpaid labour are mutually reinforcing - women responsibilities such as childbearing reinforces their roles in the labour market. Women do more unpaid labour, even when working full time.
