How do you attract people to your group and keep them. For many, they become members through parents: goals. Some are explicit and some are not stated. The debates about same sex marriages: norms, rules and sanctions. Reflection some people ponder life"s big questions (life after death?). A lot of the time, they turn away or turn towards religion after big life events. Socialization main source is within the family. If they go every week, it"s because their parents went every week. Secularization vs persistence in religion: secularization has become common because of changes in the economy.
