focus on disability rather than impairment. Disability is about the social disadvantages
experienced due to impairment. Barrier to inclusion for persons with disabilities

• Women experience higher rates of disability than men
Canadians with a disability are more likely to face unemployment + Legislation
requires employers to make workplaces accessible + Principle of "reasonable
accommodation"
