Document Summary

Changes in production, growth of large-scale manufacturing, and so we have all kinds of factories trying to emerge within the feudalist mode of production, and these factories needed wage labourers. Recall feudalism is a system in which the lords appropriate the foods that the surfs produce within the land, The capitalist grew stronger and the feudalist lords became weaker, pushing them, the lords out of power. The feudalist germ, were the capitalists, and capitalism would eventually be destroyed by another group, and these were the proletariat. Within these factories people would be working within close proximity with each other. Large-scale production, within those factories people would be working in close proximity of each other, which also enhances their working class consciousness. Economic crises, recessions and depressions also help working class consciousness. If this is the case the capitalists would lay off workers, and there could be thousands of people out there with the same situation.
