Mills conception of the new middle class. Personality market employees tend to blend their personality to fit into their work. Power elite top of the food chain, have all the power, specifically military, government etc. Power elite status is subject to change. People under the power elite are helpless and do not do anything to change that. The capitalist countries are not trying to help the developing countries they are just maintaining their status. Developing is not an automatic status, it is not universal. The self and how it is formulated in different interactions through day to day life. The self is reflecting, thinking what you are going to say, what you could of said etc. You have your imagination of your appearance to someone else and their judgement and your feelings of it. Primary group agents of socialization (first people you meet, mom, dad, siblings etc) Secondary group meet on your own terms (peers, coworkers etc)
