The industries that we need in order to produce life as we know it. Agrocultural industry, handful of industries have a monopology over our food. Once our industries are controlled by these industries the goods become commodi ed. interest is to make money, not quality. We should care about the mode of production because it helps us to understand class con ict. Class is your socioeconomic status- 3 categories upper, working, and lower. Con ict between the people who own the modes of production upper and middle, and the working class who work for the modes of production have to buy back what they make, Mode of production is tied to re-arranging social arrangements. Dicotomy between the in group and the out group.
