We want to make sense of what is going on within us which allows for us to categorize sensations where we try to making meanings and make sense of what we are feeling. Socially constructed to an extent since there are scripts and guidelines that guide our emotions: we have several words related to emotions such as happy, angry, sad, surprised, stressed or confused. These are emotions that we experience because we have a word for them. Words/labels creates world and experiences that allow for one to de ne what they are feeling.
