Feelings of trust start early; parents are entrusted to care for their baby immediately. Early childhood: around 2 years old, children become more involved with their. It is important to push children but to not hurry them. Industry vs. inferiority: children learning competency, achievement, mastery, here, kids will babysit, paper route, help neighbours. Adolescence: period of confusion, feeling lost, questioning future, gather information to make informed decisions. Learn how to prioritize information: adolescent is in control of their life. Intimacy vs. isolation: university age, early 20s. Even if single (or choose to be single forever), this is a time to hone in on social skills. Learning to be capable as a human being. Yet, university makes it hard to focus on getting an intimate relationships. This is why the common law relationship is becoming more popular, because people aren"t as ready to commit.
