Got tuberculosis while in res school and got lifelong disabilities. Fought for rights of aboriginal people; community thinker and organizer. A community is groups of people living together, same geographical location, directed towards same goal or concerns, identity or experiences of oppression, intentional/constructed and institutional communities. Communities create a sense of purpose, a similar goal. Shared advocacy and social change, carries with it a better sense of health and well-being.
