The movement of the camera shows the room. In the beginning there is a pan to the right of the city scape and there is a zoom into the room. It is a medium long shot to a medium shot. Mobile framing is the dominant element of the camera. Function: the angle emphasizes the crucial elements of the m/s (the characters and the lighting) The dimmed light emphasizes the on-screen space. Through the sequence the height is lowered. As the lights go out the camera reframes so that eventually the characters become the main focus. At the end of the scene it makes the viewer more intimate to the characters during their intimate scene. The limited shot scale emphasizes the impending kiss.
