Covers all cover material up till week 5 (does not include continuity editing feb. 6) Last ten questions are based on the film clips that will be shown during the last 10 mins of the test. Depth of frame citizen kane; principles of form - calendar. The scene becomes emphatic and it becomes the focus of the movie. The long take makes it so that the viewer watches the relationship and makes the moment develop and they get to express their relationship. There is a naturalizing process of their relationship. Style is a summation of a number of elements coming together. Straight cutting: dimensions of film editing. The difference b/w one shot and another. Graphic math: some prominent aspect of shot a (a character or object) the position of the object or direction of movement and that element is repeated in shot b, c, etc. ~ they call attention to themselves and are emphatic.
