The(cid:396)e a(cid:396)e 3 aspe(cid:272)ts of time: order, duration: story, plot, screen, frequency. Order= related to the placement to the narrative of events. When events in the story are happening eg. chronologically: reordering creates gaps to the audience, of story and plot, will be signaled by flashbacks. Frequency= relates to the reoccurrence of story events in the plot: functions in 2 different ways, plot might foreground events that happen repeatedly. Showing only a limited number of events that are repeated. Patterns of development are used to develop narratives. Story events are reordered to produce the plot. Be aware how the plot is structured. More radical then reshaping, the more the viewer has to do.
