In feminist art, we must think about the ways women are and are not represented in art. Make feminism funny, visually pleasing, easy to understand. Some women artists don"t want to be thought of women artists or feminist artists, just artists artist/subject relationship. Bringing attention to the construction of artist and institution of art - art is not created in a vacuum. Recuperating women artists - there need to be more women artists recognized. Creating a new canon of art by women artists.
