Document Summary
Shape of the pina: sounds behind you are absorbed differently than sounds in front of you. Timing of the sound: if the sound hits your right ear rst and then the left ear the ear it enters rst gives us the hint the sound is coming from that side. Dissolving of molecules in saliva based on shape that give us taste: so the shape binds with the receptors, if tongue is dry you loose taste. Taste buds only last about 10-15 days: they rejuvenate themselves. Super-tasters: can taste things 75% of people cannot: drugs, temperature. If cold you can"t taste sweet things as much. Ice cream gets less sweet as you eat it because your tongue is being cooled: age. As you age some of the taste buds rejuvenate slower then they die. Food taste different when you"re old especially sweet food.
