Has three layers: epidermis, dermis, hypodermis (subcutaneous tissue) Epidermis - can replicate from sweat glands and hair follicles if destroyed. Loose connective tissue is found at the top and bottom: bottom section that contains loose connective tissue is important because arteries, veins, etc. are found here, which transport food, oxygen, etc. Dense irregular connective tissue is found in the middle: epidermis, epithelium - strati ed squamous keratinized, cell types, keratinocytes, non-keratinocytes, melanocytes, merkel"s cells.
