Population: increasing exponentially, i"ve never seen a problem that wouldn"t be easier to solve with fewer, around 1990, our growth slowed down and addition of people started people, and so much harder with more. to decrease. But people are living longer: large part of the world is well above replacement rate, some below. Developed countries = less births per woman. Dropping because many are deciding not to have kids: women could finally decide this. Birth control: birth rate vs death rate. Birth rate dropping slowly, but death rate is going way down. The difference is the population growth rate: age structure. But we need more young people to work and support: immigration the old. Migration and war for resources: cities grow when populations grow. Waste: running out of landfills, plastic in oceans becoming hazardous. Fish eat it: disposable electronics, new versions all the time.
