Document Summary
It is predicted that by the end of the century the population will rise to 10 billion people. Better access to birth control and education for women perhaps. Africa and other developing countries make up and increased share of the world population. When it will likely mean the decline other species, increased populations and thus an increased strain on the environment. There is a correlation between fertility rates and the economic state of a country. In more developed (cid:272)ou(cid:374)tries they are (cid:374)ot rea(cid:272)hi(cid:374)g the (cid:858)repla(cid:272)e(cid:373)e(cid:374)t rate(cid:859) . But death rate are going down and as a consequence the population growth rate stayed the same. Only recently has the birth rate gone down. Will the birth rate go down and more or less match the death rate so the population stops growing. A lot of immigration and emigration is occurring as a result of this disparity between developed and developing countries.
