Population growth rate has been reduced a bit though still there is tendency that population has been grown. 1970s: peak and after that time goes down but not the rate of growth we used to have. Developed countries have been slowed down from long time ago. The rate is slowing down but still growth is happening a lot in developing countries. Current world population: we will not add any significant number of people from next few decades. Huge number of people: india, china, africa (3 major countries add number of people) Density has been decreased: deaths are greater than the number of birth ( trend to watch for and density) Total fertility rate: high fertility in souther asia, green regions are actually at or below the normal birth rate , dark green (europe, japan and russia and. Europe) are less than 1. 5 childern on average over their lifetime (population size is going smaller)
