Make connection w/ god (call through prayer) Sprinkle grains on head of animals then kill the animal. Needed to do so, to show it wasn"t a killing like any others. Killing without violence to make the victim express that this killing is good. These killings are dignified and peaceful without violence. Give the gods their share (thigh bones, wrapped in folds off fat) and more meat. Also libation of red wine: pour over meat and fire. Meat burnt and turns into smoke; consumed by fire.
