Romans weren"t really against any religions as long as they show respect to the empire (something like that) Payment of the tithe to the temple every year. Had to send gold to the temple every year in jerusalem. Flaccus banned this gold payment don"t really know why, some think to keep the gold within their land or he wants the gold for himself still unsure, lots of reasons. Cicero noted that when they passed through jerusalem he didn"t want to touch the temple (??: cicero was also a philosopher he was a very learned person, jews had to recognize the romans rules.
