The romans: coliseums, theatres, toilets, aqueducts, bathhouses, pompeii had several bathhouses, built sometimes by the state or individuals to get more votes, concrete, most romans lived in apartment buildings in the city, not very good. In the country they had villas: paintings: frescoes (on the wall themselves, a lot of scenes of people and mythology and lots of nature scenes, sculpture: lots of individual portraits.
