Document Summary

Kryla"s self-interest; shannon and the progression of her illness; Matt and violet, and their homophobia, david and his insecurity. Group work (how are each of the characters developed in the second act: kryla: she is always alone and the odd one out (david has shannon and matt, violet has matt, but kryla does not really have anyone). During her final soliloquy, kryla is alone (matt and david are together) even though this might be the most important thing she says throughout the entire play). Her words and discussions with others lack depth, whereas other characters talk about emotional things like death and sexuality. Her issues also become apparent: she is stood up by her internet date and kryla realizes she is 38 and unmarried- kind of a mid-life crisis.
