Flint, michigan: lead in water, the water source has high amount of chloride which acts corrosive agent -> leeching of lead in the pipes of the city babies, infants and children are susceptible to the effects of lead. The city didn"t switch back until oct 2015. Watch making factory, their job was to paint radium on the faces of watches so the watches would glow in the dark. The owners tried to convince ppl that radium wasn"t toxic. Tip of paint brush in the mouth for accuracy, signs of this was that when they blew their nose, it glowed in the dark.
