Incineration: burning the waste then putting it in a landfill generally. Landfill: digging a hole and lining it and putting waste products in the whole. After oil in the new york economy waste is the second largest commodity being traded. Bill gates buys waste plants to fund his environmental initiatives. On the 401 most of the trucks that past you generally probably have waste of some sort in them (though they are not labelled)
