European colonialism shaped the world through external policy policy people out: orientalism is what lead to the success of colonialism, capitalism is a result of such superiority, all of the above. When she meets jake, she growls at him and says he shouldn"t thank her. Moving forward, she is not seen as the usual feminine character. Seen to be from an under-developed world. Content is not black & white: not always a right answer, avatar can be seen as colonial, post-colonial and anti-colonial. Good questions are questions where we can develop tools to start answering it. Opens up conversations that we can have in lecture.
