They think that you can be an aid worker if you have a master"s degree, volunteered overseas, etc. Mocks how westerners glamourize the job of being an aid worker. Presume that being an aid worker will allow you to save the poor people, meet celebrities. Aid workers often intern for many charities after receiving their master"s degree, working long hours with no pay. Do not work in offices in developing countries, rather they work on writing policies, organizing campaigns, reading reports, engaging in meetings to discuss things like empowerment and sustainability in developed countries. When they finally get a job it is of little pay. Volunteering overseas in developing countries is not aid work but cultural tourism.
