Intersectionality does not mean suggesting that all aspects of our identity operate equally at all times or that all oppressions operate equally. Class, race, discrimination may be shown in anti-blackness in the united states. Take a few passages or a thread from the text. Use two conceptual terms or levers to think about what is going on in the passage or thread and its presentation. Do not describe the entire book however you can quickly talk about what you think the overarching theory of the book is. Pay close attention to what specific parts of the book are doing. Don"t feel as though you have to copy the model posted online. Don"t need secondary sources for the assignment. Fine to quote any authors we have been reading including fanon.
