The scientific revolution i: upgrading science for the modern mind. Back in the day it was called natural philosophy meaning looking at nature as created by god and embodying his purposes. Galileo began the discussion of science and religion. Explained the movements of the visible objects in the sky. With natural law and reason (heaven) on the outside. Above the moon and below the moon nothing changed above the moon but between the moon and the earth there was change. He gave us the ability to predict the movements of the planets. This cosmology stood for nearly 2000 years.
