Sex in a cold climate: sexuality and the regulation of the self: a queen"s student"s adventure in fairyland, 1932. Tried to stay at the ymca yet was dressed as a female. The historical present: sex in the news: always seen in the news paper. Sex is not in your genes/jeans: something natural or biological, physical dimension to sex. Sexual meanings/sexual regulation/sexual politics: not just the thing evened in history bu top ends up a vast range of interesting questions about sex. Woman are supposed to be passionless, men are supposed to have sexual restraint. White life for two, dominant sexual meaning in terms of whiteness. Sarah carter: part of process includes imposing white life for two upon aboriginal people who had a more diverse meaning got marriage and sexual relation. Sexuality cannot be reduces to sexual means, did actually happen in sexual practice: sub dominant: some married couples had different mean, and sexuality could be apace of pleasure and passion.
