This is the man that would be leading the battle to capture. Quebec, he has 40,000 men, and he thought he"d be welcomed with open arms by the oppressed habitants. The habitant spoke of the protection of property and religious freedom (would"ve known about the canadian expulsion), but he assured them he was here to subdue them not to expel them. The male habitant send their families to the fortified city for protection. The men formed themselves into an army to annoy and harass the british. This pissed wolfe off, and he spoke of the coming of violent measures. He had spent months and moths to try and get the french to get them out of the fort, and he"s bombing the citadel, with no success.
