Half forces along the israeli syrian borders. Israel was ready to wage a war against syria. No plans for a war by israel against syria or sinai forces. Egypt took that info and took info as if it was true. Egypt knew that if they deployed forces in a de-militarized zone: meant that egypt knew this would trigger a war between israel and the arab state. Egypt refrained from being the first one to open fire. Israelis say, you did all of these things, you removed un peace keeping forces and deployed egyptian forces from an area that was de-(cid:373)ilitarized, so israeli"s thought this was okay. If it was neutralized, israel would have full control over the air.
