Without these business corporations acts, one could not create a corporation, they don"t exist at common law. So, there must be a law that allows you to create a corporation. Act (ontario) (obca) (cid:862)co(cid:374)stitutio(cid:374)al (cid:272)o(cid:374)(cid:272)urre(cid:374)(cid:272)e(cid:863): the federal government is permitted to regulate corporations as are all of the provinces. It"s not often we see that there"s a federal law and a provincial law that would equally apply when one wants to carry out an activity in this country. This is a somewhat rare occurrence of what is known as constitutional concurrence.
