It is worth 30% - 15 multiple choice ( 10 from lecture 5 from textbook) 5 short answer- each worth 2 marks - based on lecture. Look up all that math stuff- regression to the mean. Need deep understanding on terms in order to apply is. 1 long answer question- 5 marks- major theme of the unit - based on lecture. Going over affective forecasting- overestimating how long and how intense we will feel an emotion. Immune neglect- only applies to negative event, as like a disease, when a negative event or trauma sets to ruin self esteem, we use cognitive tricks to keep those emo- tions in check and at a minimum. Spotlight phenomenon- thinking people notice/ remember more about us than in reali- ty - like we are under a spotlight.
