Both home and community home is a very key religious centre. Some worship and rituals in judaism take place in the home, others in the sanctuary, and some in both locations. The sabbath is the key aspect of the jewish rhythm of time. The rhythm of the week, with six days for work and a day of rest. Sabbath begins with sunset/nightfall on friday the day begins in the evening. Sabbath concludes when the first three stars are visible after sunset/nightfall on saturday. Begins with the lighting of candles at home followed by a family meal; this meal a key highlight in jewish family life: main synagogue service is either on friday evening or on saturday morning. Synagogue service includes a reading from the torah (opens) and from the prophets (concludes) Entire torah read during the course of the year. Jewish religious year composed of twelve lunar months (each is 29-30 days)
