Wheel/ray search for rounded time crime scene, walk from center or edges. Quadrant/zone search investigators split quadrant up into another quadrant (detailed search for evidence) For cars look inside car + outside. Search any useful evidence and the track of the wheel. License plate and body of the car (vin number) Was key in gear, park, how much fuel left, odometer reading, lights on/off. Illustrate relationship in space of all significant items. Clearly show layout of a crime scene. Where pictures taken + what was seen. Finished crime scene sketch: use computer to edit rough sketch to make it visually appealing to the eye, cad (computer-aided drafting) useful to make images easier to see. Items of evidence may be detected only thorough examination at the crime lab.
