Text gives us tools in which to order the world, we are just ordering the world that way through language. There are other ways of using the world and if we strictly use text we lose out on other things. The other five senses touch, smell, hearing . The emergence of digital media creates other ways of knowing other than text. Phone where you click on random buttons to figure out what it does. We"re using pictures and icons/symbols to navigate. Free people are harmonious and balance the senses. Western tech is about the eye and linearity, monoculture.
