Document Summary
Subject of a film by david cronenberg called crash (book by j. g ballard) Importance between reality, rep and medium = connected in his book. A photographer that likes to photograph accidents to document it through his medium. Balance between fiction and reality has changed significantly in the past decades . We live in a world ruled by fictions of every kinds, mass merchandising, ads, politics conducted as a branch of advertising. It is now less and less necessary for the writer to invent fictional content of his novel. We always assumed that the external world was reality now . The matrix - dude finds a book on his desk. There exists another dimension in crash which is inseparable from those mixing technical and sexual: the dimension of photography and cinema. Ou reality/ the fiction in which we move is augmented and with tech it has augmented further. Short film of sight - about a date and cool contacts.
