High unemployment, single-parent families, dependence on social assistance, substandard housing. As gangs became more of a ixed insituion we see that deviant morals and values are being passed down generaions. Recruit new members, pass on delinquent tradiions: cultural transmiion. Concentraion afect: isolated from social mainstream, becomes a gheto.
