Transformative learning: an experience that changes the way one practices. Interactional perspective: the wisdom one gains when practicing. Reflective practice: being deliberate by our critical thinking towards practice; experimental with formal learning. Reflection on action: occurs after interaction, involving reflection and. Behaviourism: bf skinner; people learn by stimulus and response; this informs how a person will behave. Trauma theory: when people get stuck in the flight or flight, people freeze and cannot act. Praxis: the main goal in which these learning tools are applied; how we integrate our knowledge with our action. It is ethical, grounded in self awareness, and inflicts self accountability. Social location: social position and perspective based upon multiple identities (e. g. , race, gender, class, sexual orientation, religion, etc. ) Matrix of domination: the idea that society has structure that is hierarchical; where we sit depends on our identities. Intersectionality: ways in which multiple identities intersect to create unique experiences of power, privilege, oppression.
